In sometimes trying conditions that saw some of the fleet withdraw with rudder damage, Phil Days 11 metre Whitehaven  Rythmic relished in the conditions to take OMR rating honours and PHF handicap in this year Brisbane to Gladstone Race.

While leaving some of the larger boats in her wake including the 50’ Renaissance,  the crew of Rythmic enjoyed the comforts of a well equipped cruising cat as noted by one of the crew.

“And that's not all on this very pretty 36 foot cat. Try a level private, spacious dunny where you can read a mag while comfortably sailing along at 15- 20 knots with a nice view to boot. A hot water shower, flat screen TV to watch Top Gear, separate large galley with open shelves for ease of use, and plates and cups just sitting on the bench for the whole race, large freezer/fridge, separate large nav area, my separate cabin had a large queen size bed plus a massive area to shove all my clothes 'n stuff, there was another queen size plus 2 really large singles and the fruit bowl on the side board never moved. “

Congratulations to Phil an his crew for an excellent race.
